Light, and the way it is diffused through colour, is at the root of all the emotions I experience in everyday life.

The seasons enhance it.

I try to capture in my paintings the landscapes that have marked me, the images that have stayed with me.

The sky and the sea are the common threads running through my work.

Trees are my characters.

Each day brings new perceptions that lead me towards new techniques:

Gradations of colour, transparencies, flat areas of colour…

Oil pastels, oils and pigments.

Brushes, palette knives.

These moments of contemplation, which inspire my paintings, make me want to share them.

What touches us is personal to each of us. Understanding this allows me to remain free in my artistic expression.

Whatever it may evoke, a painting has the power to show us another way of seeing.
